Beware
When you buy property through a real estate agent, that agent
is working for the seller, not for you.
Even when a helpful agent drives you around, showing you properties
for sale by other agents who have agreed to pay him (or her) if
you buy the property, the agent is still working for the seller,
not for you.
When you buy property direct from the owner you may
not know all the questions to ask or how to word them on a written
offer. You can not expect the owner to assist you with this and
it is too late to make changes after an offer has been signed.
